These homemade burger buns are so easy to make and they are great with a burger, pulled pork or even just for a sandwich!

Step 1 Melt the butter and let it cool. Add the salt in the butter Step 2 Add the flour, yeast and sugar in a bowl or mixer. Slowly add the water and start kneading the dough. Add the egg. Once that has been incorporated, add the cold butter with salt. Knead for about 5 more minutes. Transfer to an oiled bowl, cover with cling film and let it rise for about 1.5 hour Step 3 Once the dough has rested and doubled in size, knock the air out and start shaping the buns. You can decide the shape and size. I made 10 medium size buns but you can easily make 6 big ones or even sub rolls. Place them in a tray lined with parchment paper. Step 4 Cover them again and let them double in size for about 30min. Pre -heat your oven at 190ºC. Step 5 Brush the buns with some egg wash and sprinkle with some sesame seeds.
